Since the web store opened in 2005 we have been taking payment only via PayPal, but now we can take your credit or debit card order over the telephone.

If you prefer to use this method, give us a call on 01457 899778 or 0791 354 8817.

If we're busy, leave a message and we'll call you back as soon as we can - we're happy to take or make calls up to 8.30pm.

What does this mean?

BAFTS audits all its members every year; checking that we stick to our ethical principles.

To become a BAFTS member we have to prove that we source all our products from accredited importers, whose working practices are carefully monitored. BAFTS importers buy from small factories, workshops and family businesses, and always pay a fair price, so you can be sure that all the goods we sell are ethically sourced and fairly traded either by ourselves, or by other accredited importers.

We aim to bring you fantastic quality products, buying direct from the makers and designers, so we know where they come from and how they are made.

Like you, we are concerned about working conditions in the developing world. We firmly believe that the best way to improve people's lives is through fair trade, giving producers in developing countries security and helping them develop their skills.

Buying a present? We can deliver your gift directly to the recipient. We can even giftwrap it for you, for FREE. Just let us know what you want when you place your order. We'll be happy to help.

All our products are offered with FREE UK postage and packing

We will post your order within 3 working days, and use the Royal Mail

Most parcels are sent second class and orders over £10 are sent by recorded delivery.

If you need your item by a certain time, let us know and we'll do our best to help you.

Deliveries outside the UK are charged as follows:

EC countries: You pay 5% of the pre VAT order value plus £2

Non-EC European countries: You don't pay VAT. You pay 10% of the order value plus £2

Rest of the world: You don't pay VAT. For surface mail you pay 10% of the order value plus £5. For airmail you pay 30% of the order value

Some customers have received an error message after paying for their goods with PayPal

If you see an error message after returning from the PayPal site, check your email address and if you have an emailed receipt from PayPal, the payment has gone through OK. If you are still unsure, or require reassurance, email joanna@aztecarts.co.uk or give us a call on 01457 899778.
